Power outage update following freezing rain across Michiana

Thousands of residents across Southwest Michigan and Northern Indiana lost power due to freezing rain in the region on Wednesday.
Many still remain without power as of 1 p.m. on Thursday.

- Benton Harbor area
- 2,300 customers are without power in the Benton Harbor area as of 1 p.m.
- All power should be restored by 10 p.m., most will be restored by 4 p.m.
- Three Rivers area
- 2,350 customers are without power in the Three Rivers area as of 1 p.m.
- All power should be restored by 10 p.m.

As of 3 p.m. on Thursday, NIPSCO is reporting approximately 7,180 customers without power throughout Northern Indiana.
Midwest Energy & Communications (click here for the map)
As of 3 p.m. on Thursday, Midwest Energy & Communications is reporting 3,541 customers without power throughout Southwest Michigan.
Consumers Energy (click here for the map)
As of 3 p.m. on Thursday, Consumers Energy is reporting 4,224 customers without power.
