Power outages due to vehicle crash

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Power outages reported in South Bend on Wednesday night.

According to Indiana Michigan Power, nearly 700 people between W Sample Street and W Western Avenue experienced power outages Wednesday night.

It was initially reported around 5:15 p.m. and was allegedly caused by a vehicle accident.

There are some lane restrictions on Western from Walnut Street to Chapin Street due to the crash.

The restoration time is estimated to be around 5 a.m. Thursday morning.
