Power restored after lightning knocked out transformer in LaPorte County

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Did the thunderstorms wake you up on Sunday night?
Heavy rain pounded the area.
We shot this video around 12:30 a.m. in South Bend.
In LaPorte County, lightning struck a transformer at a substation and knocked out power to hundreds.
Power has since been restored.
Indiana Michigan Power told us crews had to bring in a mobile transformer.
