Powerball jackpot reaches $500 million

Wednesday morning, at $485 million, the Powerball jackpot was the 5th largest in history.
Employees at 7 Eleven on County Road 17 in Elkhart said business has been non-stop.
They said some people have purchased up to 50 tickets. At two dollars each, that's $100 worth of tickets.
The jackpot has a take home cash value of $337 million.
Some residents said if they won big they would donate to charity, or even take a long vacation to somewhere warm.
The chances of winning are 1 in 175 million.
The drawing is Wednesday night at 10:59 p.m.
