Powerball winner revealed today

The state of Michigan and the rest of the country will get to meet the lucky woman from Three Rivers who won the Powerball jackpot on Wednesday, during a news conference today in Lansing.

It may not have set the record for the largest Powerball jackpot ever won in Michigan but the fifty year old mother from Three Rivers who will reveal herself this morning will be complacent with second place.

Michigan began offering Powerball in 2010 and on Wednesday, a Michigan player won the Powerball jackpot for a third time.

This time, $310.5 million, just $27 million shy of the state’s largest jackpot won in 2012.

But coming in second shouldn’t be a problem for the 55-year-old mother from Three Rivers.

The Powerball jackpot was reset to 40 million dollars for the next draw and is already at 50 million.
