GRAND RAPIDS, Mich – Donald Trump held his second campaign rally of the year and the first campaign rally in the state of Michigan in 2019.
Michigan is important for the President to help towards winning reelection in 2020.
In 2016 Donald Trump won the state of Michigan by just over 10,000 people which is less than one half of a percentage point.
“How the hell could I lose Michigan and we didn’t lose Michigan,” President Donald Trump said.
Included in Thursday’s campaign rally speech was a policy reversal.
President Trump vowed to fully fund the $300-million dollar Great Lakes Initiative which he cut in his 2020 budget.
“I support the Great Lakes, I always have they’re beautiful, very big very deep, record deepness and I’m going to get it in honor of my friends,” Trump said.
