Production starts for new Reach walk-in van

WAKARUSA, Ind. -- Production work has started at a Wakarusa factory on a new commercial van designed to be lighter and more fuel efficient.
The Reach walk-in van is being built at the Utilimaster Corp. Plant in Wakarusa in a project with Isuzu's commercial truck division.
ABC 57 News spoke to a source in Human Resources with Spartan Motors. He confirmed that this project should add approximately 50 new manufacturing and assembly jobs between full-time and contract employees.
