Program trains volunteers how to be 'Neighbor Responders' to opioid overdoses

SOUTH BEND, Ind.- Naxos Neighbors is training volunteers how to respond to an opioid overdose on April 26 from 6-8:30 p.m. at the South Bend Tech Resource Center.

Admission is free and volunteers must register in advance to reserve their spot.

Prior to the training date, registered volunteers are asked to take the naloxone quiz and a pretest.

Participants are also asked to bring a charged smartphone to the training.

The South Bend Tech Resource Center is located at 1165 Franklin St., Suite 100 in South Bend.
