SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Bend Police Department is now accepting applications for its next prospect day, which happens July 16.
While prospect day allows applicants to complete three stages of the induction process, officers who are hired will still need to complete the same amount of training as those who do not attend prospect day.
The event includes taking an agility test, written exam and personal interview.
Applications must be submitted by July 11 to take part in the event, and can be found online at SBPD Summer Prospect Days | South Bend Police Department (southbendin.gov)
