Protesters gather at Deer Forest Park

COLOMA, Mich. -- Protesters gathered outside of Deer Forest Park on Sunday afternoon to speak their mind about what they say are "unacceptable conditions" for the animals inside.

“That park is not in any condition to house any animal,” says Sheila LoPresti.

The park is 65 years old. It's seen new owners and a lot of wear and tear. The new manager, Jon Stolarz, says he's doing his best. He claims the protesters are wrong and his animals are well taken care of with adequate medical attention.

Stolarz says he has a trained veterinarian that has been to the park more than 12 times in 4 months.
