Puppy mill protestors speaking out at U.P. Mall

MISHAWAKA, Ind. – While most people went to University Park Mall in Mishawaka to shop, others protested puppy mills on Black Friday.

The group "Pet Shop Puppies" is upset about animals being sold at pet shops, like the one at the mall. They say 50 percent of pets are sold during the holidays.

The group plans on protesting every Saturday between Black Friday and Christmas.

The owner said he had no comment about allegations that some of his puppies come from puppy mills.
