Purdue and Amazon teaming up for cheaper textbooks

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Amazon and Purdue University are partnering to offer college students cheaper textbooks.

College students everywhere know about the constant battle to save on expensive textbooks.

This year Amazon is teaming up with Purdue University to offer cheaper books.

The Purdue Student Store on Amazon allows students to save up to 30 percent a year on not only textbooks, but other college essentials.

Amazon will also have staffed pick-up and drop-off locations on Purdue's campus.

While the online store is already running, the on-campus locations will open in early 2015.
