Purdue announces plan to move to three-semester school year

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Soon, you may be able to earn your college degree in record time!

Purdue University announced a plan on Wednesday to reduce the time it takes to graduate, and cut costs!

The West Lafayette campus is moving towards a three-semester school year, and will offer more classes.

Purdue says the program will take about eight years to implement.

The State of Indiana is pressuring schools to graduate students in less time for less money.
