Pyrotechnic practice happening October 4 at Tiscornia Beach

ST. JOSEPH, Mich. - A team of professionals will use pyrotechnics at Tiscornia Beach around noon Wednesday afternoon, according to the St. Joseph Department of Public Safety. Nearby residents should be prepared to hear occasional loud sounds during the rehearsal.
The crew with Southwest Michigan’s Lest We Forget organization will practice for about an hour as they plan for a reenactment of the 80th anniversary of the D-Day invasion, which is set for June 22, 2024, at the beach.
