Python clings to Qantas plane

NEW GUINEA — It was a scary moment for passengers aboard a Qantas flight headed to New Guinea. Not because of any mechanical malfunction, but rather an unexpected passenger they spotted—a real life snake on their plane.

Somehow, a 10-foot python managed to cling to the wing of the plane during a two hour flight from Australia.

The snake posed no danger to the plane and did not make it to New Guinea.
