Another quiet day in the forecast today. Skies are mostly to partly cloudy. It will get breezy this evening.
Temperatures continue to rise overnight. Wednesday morning out the door, temperatures are in the low 40s. By Wednesday afternoon, temperatures climb into the upper 40s.
Starting the second half of Wednesday, the forecast gets messy with our next system. A few showers are possible Wednesday afternoon, then widespread, heavier rain is likely Wednesday overnight.
Rain continues Thursday morning. As temperatures drop Thursday, we’ll see rain switch to a wintry mix, then gradually snow.
The precipitation, combined with melting snow (courtesy of the mild temperatures), could lead to flooding in low lying areas, possibly some minor river flooding.
By Thursday afternoon, we could see some accumulation of snow, possibly a low ice accumulation. The system moves out late Thursday night.
Friday is quiet and colder, with highs in the mid 20s, so leftover precipitation likely refreezes.
Temperatures warm again over the weekend.
Today: Partly cloudy and breezy. High 36.
Tonight: Partly cloudy and windy. Temperatures in the 30s near midnight rise into the 40s by sunrise.
Wednesday: PM rain and windy. High 49.
Thursday: Falling temperatures, rain/snow showers.
