Severe weather threat ending across Michiana
ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Saturday, April 5, 2025
After a rainy start, conditions are expected to dry out for most of Michiana. However, areas south of US-30 may experience a stray shower this evening, which could further contribute to the flood risk in the southern counties. Some rivers remain under Flood Warnings, including the St. Joseph River at Three Rivers, which is impacting St. Joseph (MI) and Elkhart counties. The rest of the weekend will stay cool, with temperatures remaining below average. Highs will struggle to reach the 40s at the start of next week, and lows will dip below freezing. Temperatures are expected to gradually rise slightly above normal later in the week. Showers are possible from Wednesday night into Thursday, though the severity remains uncertain at this time.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy, cold. Low 34.
Sunday: Cloudy, cool. High 49.
Monday: Cold, slight snow chance. High 44.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny. High 40.
