Race the Bend a weekend success

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Race the Bend went on without a hitch!
We stopped in just as they were starting one of the first races of the day.
It was a .8 mile course race with about 20 different riders participating.
The proper term for the race is a criterium or a race that's held on a closed course, usually in a suburban setting.
