Scattered storms moving into Michiana
This evening will be calm and dry. Clouds will increase during the evening ahead of the next storm system. A big low pressure system will slowly move across the Midwest during the first half of the week. Rain starts after 3 AM tonight, and will last throughout Monday. The rain may be heavy at times during the morning and evening commutes. We may even have some light thunderstorms embedded in the showers during the evening. Rain will through Monday night, Tuesday and Tuesday night. By Wednesday morning, snow and frozen precip. will likely mix in with the rain. This prolonged rain will potentially cause flooding near rivers, creeks and low lying areas, as up to around 4 inches of rainfall will accumulate.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy with rain arriving late. Low of 37.
Monday: Cloudy with rain. A few thunderstorms possible. High of 58.
Tuesday: Cloudy with rain. A few thunderstorms possible. Highs in the mid 60s.
Wednesday: Cloudy with rain/snow mix. Highs falling through the 30s.
