Potawatomi Poppy’s 2023 Groundhog Day prediction
This evening will be mainly dry with temperatures in the mid 40s. Rain starts moving in early Monday morning, and scattered showers will last through the evening. Less than half of an inch of rainfall is expected, so this does not cause any flooding concern, just lots of puddles. Highs make it into the low 50s Monday and winds will be breezy out of the south at 10-15 mph with gusts near 25 mph. A cold front moves through Monday night, dropping temps into the mid 20s overnight into Tuesday morning. Two messy systems will move through on Wednesday and Thursday, bringing chances for wintry mix including freezing rain. This is something we will watch closely for the middle of the week.
Tonight: Cloudy with a chance of showers late. Patchy fog possible. Low of 42.
Monday: Scattered rain showers. Breezy. High of 53.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy. Wintry mix moving in at night. Highs in the mid-30s.
Wednesday: AM wintry mix, turning to rain mid-morning. More mix possible at night. Highs in the upper 30s.
