Rain becomes widespread Friday afternoon, could linger into Saturday

Happy Friday! This morning, you may not necessarily need to use your umbrella as you’re getting out the door, but be sure to take it with you today. You’ll definitely want it on your way home.

A few spotty showers are possible in the first half of today, but rain won’t become widespread until afternoon.

Rain continues tonight. By Saturday, we’ll continue to see some showers in the morning, then a lingering drizzle into the early afternoon.

Along with the rain, it’ll be cooler tomorrow with temperatures staying in the 40s all day.

Sunday morning starts cool, in the low 30s, but nice improvements into the upper 50s along with plenty of sunshine, will make Sunday the nicer day of the weekend.

Monday looks dry, but another round of rain moves in for Tuesday and Wednesday.
