Rain didn't stop fans from attending B100 birthday bash

SOUTH BEND --- Sunday was B100's big birthday celebration, including a concert at the St. Joseph County fairgrounds.

Despite the rain, thousands showed up to see Travis Tritt, Joe Nichols and Tyler Far just to name a few.

For one country fan, Sunday is a day she will remember forever.

Her boyfriend was called up to the tailgate for winning something, but it was all part of special plan.

"And then he said he was really here with his girlfriend and he said he loved me more than anything and called me up there and then asked me to marry him in front of everybody," said Samantha Thompson who got engaged at the B100 bash.

Kim, Brian and Meteorologist Jamie Martin were at the bash all day.
