Threat of drought, even with rainy spring in Michiana
This evening will be beautiful, with temperatures falling through the 60s. Overnight we drop to 51, which isn’t as cold as the past two mornings, but still chilly. Monday will be an even warmer day with highs in the low 70s, but clouds start moving in during the afternoon and we have a chance for some showers and thunderstorms. Tuesday warms into the upper 70s with a few chances for rain during the day, including the evening when we already have a risk for strong to severe thunderstorms. Storms will be triggered by a cold front which will drop our temperatures back into the 60s.
Tonight: Mostly clear. Low of 51.
Monday: Patchy AM fog possible, then mostly sunny early. Clouds increase during the afternoon with a slight chance for a shower, but the chance for rain increases into the evening. High of 72.
Tuesday: Chance for a few AM showers, then partly sunny. Storms move in during the evening, and some may be strong. Highs in the upper 70s.
