Showers and thunderstorms move in during the early morning hours, bringing another soaking start to this week. This morning's rain tapers off by the AM commute for the most part, although damp and misty conditions will still likely be found in counties by the lake. Highs peak at 70F early today, but an approaching cold front brings not only a cooldown, but more showers and storms in the late afternoon and early evening. Windy conditions will be present all of today, but especially as the front moves in. Expect gusts of 35-45 mph alongside the rain, making for a generally dreary day ahead. Showers wrap up tonight with lows in the upper 40s, giving way to much more sunshine and seasonal temperatures the rest of this week.
Today: Rain and wind. High 70.
Tonight: Showers early. Low 48.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy. High 56.
Thursday: Sunny. High 60.
