It will be a rainy Mother's Day.
Showers start this morning, and rain will pick up around noon through the afternoon.A few thunderstorms cannot be ruled out this afternoon.
High temperatures today will be in the mid 50s.
It will be another windy day, with gusts near 30 mph possible. Because of the wind, Lake Michigan could have soem taller waves today.
The week starts out dry and cool. Monday temperatures will struggle to climb, reaching a high around 48. Skies are cloudy Monday morning, then turn partly sunny by the afternoon. Tuesday is slightly warmer with a high in the mid 50s, and is mostly sunny.
Things start to change Wednesday, as temperatures finally reach the 60s again. While the day is mostly sunny, there will be chances for rain by the evening. Rainy conditions will continue Thursday and Friday with chances for thunderstorms both days. Warmer air will persist through next weekend with temperatures staying in the upper 60s to low 70s.
