ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. — Police say the rainy weather in St. Joseph County Thursday played a factor in a toll road accident. It happened east of New Carlisle just before 2 p.m.
An SUV was trying to pass another car when it lost control on the wet road. The vehicle was sideways on the road when a semi collided with it.
Two people were in the SUV. Both were taken to the hospital.
The injuries are unknown but are not believed to be life-threatening.
