Record cold forecast Thursday

The next 24 hours.from early Thursday morning to early Friday morning will be frigid with record cold temperatures in the forecast.

Tonight temperatures fall into the single digits and will come close, but likely stay just above record morning lows (Fig 1).

Thursday, the high temperature will struggle to reach the mid teens, this would shatter a record set back in 1978 for the coldest high temperature ( Fig 2).

Friday morning, lows drop near zero, but it's unlikely temperatures fall colder than -2° ( Fig 3).

We get through the next two days and we'll see our first taste of Spring-like weather next week. Click here for the 10-day forecast.
