Reports: Notre Dame adding South Florida to 2020 football schedule

NOTRE DAME, In. - Despite a recent spike in COVID-19 cases and a pause in football practice Wednesday, reports Thursday indicate the Fighting Irish have added another game to their football schedule.

The University of South Florida Bulls will come to South Bend September 19 for a non-conference game against Notre Dame, according to a report from Irish Illustrated.

This would replace Notre Dame's canceled match-up against Western Michigan, which was the only non-conference game on Notre Dame's schedule.  That game was nixed when the Mid-American Conference, which Western Michigan is a part of, chose not to play football this fall.
