Reports of a shooting in South Bend overnight Tuesday

UPDATE: As of 6:30, South Bend police learned one man was shot, later showing up at a South Bend hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

The violent crimes unit is now leading the investigation.


ORIGINAL STORY: SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend police investigated a shooting in the 400 block of South 26th Street Tuesday.

The police were called to the scene at 12:25 a.m. ABC57 can confirm SBPD were seen at the Cedar Glen Apartment Complex.

Officers were seen taking down crime scene tape and leaving the scene around 1:15 a.m.
