SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Representative Jackie Walorski commented Monday on the COVID-19 cases and the potential risks in Indiana.
Representative Walorski said that while there was a new coronavirus case in Noble County on Monday, Indiana remains a low-risk state.
She says Indiana Health Officials are to thank for keeping the virus from spreading.
"Hoosier common sense will go a long way for us in Indiana: washing our hands, not shaking hands and just being really smart about where we go and what we do. I think that we're maneuvering this as well as we can. I have 100% confidence in our state officials. They are doing the job they were hired to do at an incredible level,” Representative Walorski said.
Indiana now has four confirmed cases of COVID-19 but no one in Indiana has died from the virus.
