Rescue teams get man out of SUV submerged in river

A 21-year-old man is in the hospital after crashing his SUV into the St. Joseph River.
It happened on the 1900 block of Riverside Drive.
South Bend fire officials believe the man had a medical emergency while driving which caused him to lose control of the vehicle.
The investigation is ongoing.
