Residents enjoying Hometown Days

NEW CARLISLE -- Folks headed back to where it all began Sunday morning for Hometown Days in New Carlisle.

This is one festival with a very unique story.

Back in 2005 after the town canceled funding for the legendary Historical Days a group of people got together to put on Hometown Days instead.

This festival has been very successful.

"It was a great festival, beautiful weather.  We had a lot of food vendors and a lot of just general vendors.  We had rides," said Dawn Krueger, Vice President.

The three day festival wrapped up Sunday afternoon.
