NOW: Residents of La Porte county to see slight income tax hike

LA PORTE, Ind. -- Residents of La Porte County will see state income tax rates increase starting Saturday.

Approximately .0145% of county residents' paychecks will be put toward state income taxes.

This an increase from the previous rate of 0.0095%.
