Ribbon cutting for Paramount School of Excellence in South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend's Paramount School of Excellence is celebrating its newest expansion of their campus.

The South Bend campus serves students from K-8 grade. The campus opened in 2023 and has served around 300 students at Tarkington Elementary. As enrollment at Paramount schools grew over the years, it became necessary to expand which prompted the expansion.

Now with 22 new classrooms, the school's capacity nearly triples, going from 300 to now 800.

"We have about 100 seats still open for this school, which is fantastic. We're anticipating them filling quickly as has happened in the past, but we do want parents to know this is new. It's in beautiful shape. We have high caliber teachers, a high bar educational experience, and now more seats offer for those parents to come in and take advantage of." says Tommy Reddicks, CEO of Paramount schools.

While not all the classrooms are finished, the need for temporary classrooms has been eliminated and the entire building will be complete by fall break.
