Road closures and lane restrictions start in Mishawaka next week

MISHAWAKA, Ind. - The City of Mishawaka announced work will begin on several roads in the Twin Branch area for utility and right-of-way improvements beginning at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, June 4.

Vistula Road between Terry Lane and Charles Street will be closed to all traffic from June 4 to August 16.

Charles Street from Lincolnway East to Vistula Road will be restricted to thru traffic only from June 4 to August 16.

City officials say in addition to that work, crews will conduct sewer pipe cleaning on Vistula Road between Charles Street and Bittersweet Road in preparation for pipelining installations.

The intersection of Bittersweet Road and Vistula Road will have lane and turn restrictions during the cleaning and pipelining process.
