Road closure to start in Berrien County Monday

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. - The Berrien County Roads Department announced the closure of Warren Woods Road between Red Arrow Highway and the I-94 overpass bridge in Chikaming Township.

During construction, the road will be closed to thru traffic, but local traffic will be permitted.

All other traffic not accessing properties within the work zone are asked to seek alternative routes or use the signed detour.

Weather permitting, the following locations are expected to see sealcoating work to begin on Thursday, June 6:

• Defay Road in Lincoln Township between Red Arrow Highway to dead end
• Defay Road in Lincoln Township between Jericho Road to dead end
• Thornton Drive in Lake Township between Willow Drive and Livingston Road
• Wagner Road in Buchanan Township between Madron Lake Road to W. Clear Lake Road
