Road construction in Mishawaka creates traffic disruptions

MISHAWAKA, Ind. – The City of Mishawaka announced upcoming projects which could lead to traffic disruptions for drivers.

The intersection of Grape and Douglas Roads will have restrictions southbound on July 30th.

According to the city, that construction should last to August 10th.

The intersection of Byrkit Avenue and Lincolnway East will be closed on Monday, as well.

Traffic will be directed to East 12th Street and McKinley Avenue, by Capital Avenue and Main Street.

Byrkit and Lincolnway East construction is expected to be completed by August 6th.

Officials ask drivers to be patient and take other routes if possible.
