Robbers kidnap bank teller in Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- It almost seems like something out of a movie.

Fort Wayne police said that someone cased a Freedom Financial Credit Union.

Then they grabbed one female employee when she arrived for work, blindfolded her, tied her up and took her away.

They brought her back at night and robbed the place.

People who know the teller said they could not believe it.

"She's probably the sweetest lady that anyone would ever meet," James Burnside. "I've stayed after a couple of times and walked her out to her car."

The bank is reviewing its procedures so it does not happen again.

There is no word on any suspects.
