Fulton County Jail: Scott Roe

ROCHESTER, Ind. -- A Rochester man faces attempted murder and domestic battery charges after allegedly attacking his father with a baseball bat.

34-year-old Scott Roe was taken into custody in connection to the alleged incident.

Officers responded to a home on Maplewood Lane for a report of a domestic fight with injuries. Fulton County Sheriff's deputies allegedly found Roe's father on the ground, yelling and covered in blood.

Roe allegedly told officers that the dispute started after his father asked for a "hit" of a "duster" inhalant he had bought at the store. This allegedly led to an argument. Roe allegedly said that his father left the room; he then allegedly said he "snapped," grabbed a baseball bat, and hit him in the head.

Investigators allegedly found a bat in the living room.

Roe's father was taken to the hospital with multiple injuries to his head. He is currently being held in a medical coma.
