UPDATE: Police say all lanes are clear near Jefferson Road and Capital Avenue.

Authorities say one driver was seriously injured but is in stable condition.

The other driver was uninjured.

ORIGINAL STORY: MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The St. Joseph County Police Department reports officers responded to the intersection of Capital Avenue and Jefferson Road around 12:45 p.m.

Southbound lanes have been shut down near the crash with traffic being directed through the right turning lane.
