Rollover crash in Cass County leaves one injured

CASS COUNTY, Mich. - Deputies with the Cass County Sheriff's Office responded to a single vehicle crash on M 60 near Lake Shore Drive in Howard Township Sunday morning just after 6 a.m.

Investigation of the crash showed that a silver Acura driven by a 23-year-old Flossmoor, Illinois man had lost control of his vehicle, went off the roadway, struck a tree then rolled on its side.

The driver was able to get out of the car on his own and sustained injuries in the crash.

He was transported by SMCAS Ambulance to South Bend Memorial Hospital.

Alcohol is not believed to be a factor and the driver was wearing a seat belt during the crash.
