Romney's visit to Poland overshadow by comments made in Israel

POLAND -- Presidential candidate Mitt Romney continues to get criticism over comments made in Israel.

The Republican presidential candidate stopped in Poland on Monday.

In Poland, Romney received the endorsment from a former Polish president and Nobel Prize winner.

But it was what he said in Israel that has got people talking.

During a closed press fundraiser, Romney tied culture to economic inequality between the Israelis and Palestinians.

"Palestinians and Israelis may be in a conflict, but Palesitians and Israelis are people, equal and such racist statements do not serve those who are tryinjg to protect and save lives in the region," ??.

However, his campaign says his comments were "grossly mischaracterized."

Romney's campaign released a full transcript of remarks.

Last week, he criticized Britain over the Olympics.
