Ronald McDonald House Charities to host third annual Radiothon

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Ronald McDonald House Charities will be partnering with U93 to host a 12-hour Radiothon on Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. to support Michiana families.

The third-annual event is an all-day live radio broadcast from RMHC's South Bend location, which is located in the Skyway Building across the street from Beacon Children's Hospital.

Donations can be made online here, or by calling the event at 574-647-8855 to have an RMHC Michiana representative help complete a donation.

Supporters can also text "Hero" to 574-289-9393 for contactless donation.

The goal for this year's event is to gain 120 new House Hero donors to support RMHC at a level of $25 per month for the next year.

As a new addition to the event, U93 will be broadcasting live from the McDonald's restaurant on Grape Road from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

At this McDonald's location, supporters can also donate to RMHC by giving extra change at the drive-thru canister or by asking to round-up their order to the nearest dollar.
