Roof collapses at popular summer bar

OSCEOLA, Ind. -- A popular Michiana summer spot is feeling the weight of winter.  The patio roof at Between the Buns in Osceola collapsed.

"With all the snow this year, it got piled up on our aluminum roof and it came right down," says Emilie Spaid, one of the owners of Between the Buns.  "I think once the rain hit it wasn't going to hold anymore."

The patio is closed for the winter, so no one was outside and under the canopy when it collapsed.

Between the Buns says they are already rebuilding, and have plans to have the patio opened by Memorial Day weekend.
