Rookies take to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.--The Indianapolis 500 is just a couple of weeks away , and on Thursday, the rookies took the track.
The new drivers to the race had rookie orientation, it gave them a chance to hit the track at the Motor Speedway.
Ten drivers had the option of driving, but practice for all the drivers begins on Saturday.
