SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Shoes were laced up early Saturday morning for the 29th annual Sunburst Race.
Runners hit the pavement for everything from a fun walk, a 5K run and even the almighty marathon.
The race started in downtown South Bend.
And the finish line was marked by Notre Dame Stadium's fifty-yard line.
"The personal accomplishment portion was great. It was definitely something I had on my bucket list for awhile and it's been good to cross it off," said runner Rem Yoder.
All the money raised will benefit Memorial Children's Hospital.
