Russia seeks to ban on US adoptions

A new ban could bring an end to Americans adopting children from Russia.

The Russian Parliament passed the bill that would create the adoption ban.

The president of Russia said the bill is legitimate response to a new U.S. law that calls for sanctions against Russians who are believed to violate human rights.

No word on whether he will sign that bill into law. And what it means for pending adoptions.
