GOSHEN, Ind. -- A Goshen non-profit is helping children grieving a loved one work through those feelings in a fun environment.
Ryan's Place is bringing kids together at a free, 1 day camp at Syracuse Elementary School on March 4th from 9 A.M. to 2 P.M.
The loss does not have to be recent, and you don’t need to live in Syracuse to participate if you’re willing to make a drive.
‘Camp Hope’ will have activities planned to help kids get to know each other, share experiences and go through some of the emotions that come with grieving the loss of a loved one.
For kids, it’s helpful for them to see that there are other kids who have also lost someone special and are feeling the same things they may be feeling.
Kids can enjoy games, arts, music and lunch at the camp - parents are just asked to register in advance to make sure there is enough for everyone.
Registration ends March 1st – you can find more information and get registered here.
