If you're headed to a tailgate this weekend, ABC 57 has tips to keep you safe while snacking.
Dietitians say cross-contamination from meat is a big concern.
Be sure to ditch plates after they have had raw meat on them so you do not spread harmful bacteria.
You should also bring a meat thermometer to your tailgating.
