Saint Mary's students head back to class and hit the books

It's back to the books for some area college students! Monday, classes kicked off at Saint Mary's College.



We found several ladies walking to class this morning with their backpacks in-hand!



Students ABC 57 talked with said they're excited about their classes, but they're also happy to be reunited with friends!



Mary Catherine Faller, a sophomore, said, "I’m really excited to be back. Saint Mary’s is a great campus. I’m just excited to see all of the other students and meet my new professors."



Saint Mary's College will hold its traditional opening mass on Wednesday.



This year, the school welcomed 396 new students.



Classes at Notre Dame start Tuesday.
